Ecology-Design-Regeneration
Three Sisters Permaculture brings to your project three decades of permaculture design experience and an extensive knowledge of the details of sustainable, regenerative systems. This experience helps our clients to meet their goals while minimizing their environmental footprint and making a positive impact on the local ecosystem.
Experienced Team: Consultation, Design and Build
Led by Darrell Frey, our team of design associates offers a wide range of consultation services. The list of services below touches on some of our work, but our specialty is combining these various elements into integrated systems. We seek to balance economic considerations with the energy and environmental equation of your project to help design and create ecologically sound homes, landscapes, businesses and communities.
We offer installation and construction services on some projects. See our past projects page for examples.
Commitment to Quality
Three Sisters Permaculture has a stellar reputation with our clients. Our work is cutting edge, thorough and timely. We keep up-to-date with appropriate technologies, but also understand the value of tried and true heirloom knowledge of traditional societies. We understand that time is of the essence and budgets can be tight. We believe that good design at the beginning of a project can save both time and money in the long run, and increase the productivity of your land and profitability of your enterprise.
About Permaculture Design: an ethical approach to earth care and people care
Permaculture Design is a field of ecological design, drawing lessons from natural systems and utilizing the latest “green technologies” to create sustainable and regenerative systems.
Permaculture encompasses many aspects of our lives: how we generate and use energy, build our buildings and landscapes, grow or obtain our food, use water, manage resources and how we impact the earth’s ecosystems.
Permaculture principles provide a framework to inform the design process. Some of these principles include energy efficient planning, integrated systems design, small scale intensive systems, use of biological resources, use of appropriate technology, and planning systems that care for people and the earth.
Our projects have included design and development of the following:
